Adult Learners Week (ALW) runs from 1-8 September every year, with events and activities taking place across Australia to promote the benefits of learning.
This year’s theme ‘Take the journey’ aims to encourage everyone to take the journey through adult learning, regardless of your age or stage in life, and we are pleased to be involved by hosting two free webinars.
About the webinar
Take a short learning journey with TTC Senior Learning and Development Consultant, Amanda Kubach, when she hosts Create Positive Interactions: boost your communication skills.
This 45-minute webinar will explore communication techniques you can use to ensure your interactions are positive - whether in the workplace in a customer service role, working with clients, managing stakeholders, or in your personal relationships.
Each session will cover:
- phone v’s face-to-face communication
- importance of plain-English
- staying engaged
- is the person with you
- relaying complex information.
About the facilitator
Amanda has worked in the customer service industry all her working life, with over 20 years’ experience designing and delivering training for the customer service environment. She has designed large scale induction training programs and facilitated training for thousands of people in both the public and private sector.
