A brand-new course to help you ‘do what is right’

There has always been a clear requirement for public sector organisations to act effectively and efficiently.  In recent times, partly in response to the wide range of Commissions of Inquiry and Royal Commissions, we have seen a third ‘e’ come to prominence, the requirement to act ethically.

As individuals, we have the ability to develop our skills to recognise ethical dilemmas and respond to them appropriately. To help you develop these Important skills, we have a new course on the 2024 calendar – Making the right choice: ethics for the public sector.

This one-day course is suitable for anyone working in the public sector to gain an understanding of the ethical dimensions of our workplaces, while also developing the capacity for ethical reasoning and ethically sound action.

Delivered exclusively through TTC in Tasmania by respected TTC training partner Rhys Edwards, this course will provide you with a better understanding of the barriers and enablers within the public sector that enable us to ‘do what is right’.

Rhys is an experienced organisational leader who has worked at the highest levels of the public service for over 16 years including six years as the Secretary of the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Tasmania. Rhys delivers a number of courses through TTC, continuing his long-standing commitment to help develop the next generation of public sector leaders.
