This course is an introduction to one of the fundamental building blocks of human resource management - assessing work value.

Mercer’s CED Job Evaluation methodology is an objective method for HR practitioners to compare positions in their organisation and provide rigor to procedures such as compensation and performance appraisal.

  • Understand the principles of job evaluation
  • Apply the Mercer CED Job Evaluation system
  • Improve your confidence in using the Mercer CED Job Evaluation system
  • Evaluate jobs in a panel
  • Receive authorisation to use the Mercer CED Job Evaluation system.

Anyone doing job evaluation and grading using the Mercer CED Job Evaluation system.

Presenter: Dr Paula Saunders (Mercer Consulting)

Paula is an engaging presenter who works with clients from public, private, and not-for-profit sectors to develop and implement strategies that support business transformation and growth.  When working with clients, she places great emphasis on the importance of knowledge transfer and developing client capability to support the implementation of Mercer developed tools and strategies.  Paula is a passionate life-long learner who holds a Masters and PhD in Organisational Psychology.
