This comprehensive three-part program goes beyond simply teaching the mechanics of difficult conversations. It explores the internal and external aspects of communication and leadership, equipping you to engage in more compassionate and crucial conversations that lead to positive outcomes.
Blending real-life experiences with psychology, ethics, decision-making, compassion practices, and leadership and communication best practices, this hybrid course is designed to enhance both your leadership capabilities and communication effectiveness.
The program includes:
- A full-day, face-to-face workshop exploring the inner game of communication and leadership integration through hands-on experiential learning and practical application.
- A three-hour online follow-up session approximately two weeks later, focused on the outer game of compassionate and crucial conversations, to deepen your understanding and embed key concepts.
- An optional 1.5-hour online group coaching session held about a month after the initial workshop, offering personalised support for applying what you've learned and addressing any challenges or questions that have come up.
You will walk away with practical tools, proven communication frameworks, and greater self-awareness – empowering you to lead with greater compassion and navigate a wide range of compassionate and crucial conversations with confidence, clarity and influence.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this program, you will be able to:
- adopt a repeatable, practical approach for preparing for and having compassionate and crucial conversations, understanding the different types including when and how to have them
- explore both the inner and outer domains of communication and build self-management and relational awareness capacity
- obtain greater self-awareness in the way you show up in your leadership during uncertainty and difficulty
- apply various self-management practices and tools to influence the outcomes of your conversations and to enhance your interpersonal effectiveness
- share in discussions and activities to embed these powerful techniques into your workplace and ongoing practices.
