Public Sector Management (PSM) Program

The Public Sector Management (PSM) Program is a tertiary level qualification, aimed to develop skills in middle to senior level managers from Commonwealth, State, Territory and Local Government sectors across Australia.

PSM has been offered in Tasmania since 1992 and successful participants receive Graduate Certificate in Business (Public Sector Management) from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

The PSM Program is coordinated and delivered in all capital cities by QUT and TTC actively promotes participation in the program in Tasmania.

Enrolments for 2018 are now open.

A free Information Session is being held on Thursday 22 February 2018 from 8.30am to 9.30am at the Astor Room, Level 7, 144 Macquarie Street.  The session will be facilitated by Dr Evelyne Meier and Acting Professor Vicky Browning from QUT and it will provide an overview of the PSMP and plenty of time to ask questions.  Follow the QUT web link to read more about the program .

PSMP 2017 Graduation

Graduation photo17 people from the 2015 PSMP cohort were awarded a Graduate Certificate in Business (Public Sector Management)  from Queensland University of Technology earlier this year.  The event was celebrated at Hobart Town Hall along with family and friends. Greg Johannes, Head of the State Service also attended and provided an inspiring address.  They were joined by several QUT academic staff to celebrate the graduate's achievements.
